Somatics for Self-Realization: Supple & Strong Backs

Our backs help us rise up, stand with confidence and poise, and move and express ourselves. They bring us into skillful action and good posture which not only builds our confidence but also heals a host of patterns within the body, mind and spirit. When we have back pain it affects our quality of life and limits our activity, while also creating a sense of feeling unsupported in life.

Join a small cohort to explore the brilliance of our back, our spinal column and all it does to support us manifesting an optimal life. When we have a supple and strong back/spine the rest of our system flows effortlessly. Release patterns of pain including patterns connected to scoliosis induced by the twist, cringe, trauma reflex, chronic pain at L5/S1, thoracic, and cervical restriction and gain more functional movement.

In this course you will:

  • release chronic tension in the back/spine

  • reeducate the spine into its 6 directions so you can experience functional movement

  • find stability and mobility within the spine and from here add freedom of movement and strength.

  • each week you will have home integration practices to deepen your healing and your self-study and embodiment.

Dates for 4 week Series: Wednesdays, March 12, April 2, and 9, 16, 2025 (please note, no class March 19 & 26)
